Emily Curtis, described as a "soulful pop artist with a southern flare", began making waves with her guitar and soulful vocals in the Charleston music scene in 2015. She has since released original music including her latest release, Battleshade. Some of her more prestigious show credits include opening for the country band, Parmalee in July 2019, and hometown favorites Hootie and the Blowfish with Carolina Country Music Awards’ Band of the Year, The Blue Pickups Band. After being selected to attend the November 2019 Neverland Songwriters Retreat in Costa Rica, she came home inspired. She then began collaborating with producer, Micah Nichols (co-writes include NeedtoBreathe and JohnnySwim) and Matt Mackelcan (seen on tour with Corey Smith and Matt Nathanson) to create new music with a brand new sound from her previous tracks, that she is anxious to release soon.
Faith being her driving force, Emily hopes to leave her listeners knowing they are seen and to empower them to "Leave a Mark" wherever they are with whatever gifts they have.
